Rodney Bowe

Rodney Bowe is the Director for the Men of Color Initiative at the University of New Mexico, which is designed to increase retention and graduation rates at UNM and in the community. Rodney is a member of Albuquerque Public School’s Equity & Engagement Advisory Council. He also serves as a Board member for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, is a core member of Sankofa Men's Leadership Exchange, a member of Families United for Education, a member of the United Way's Mission Graduate, and chairs the New Mexico State Office of African American Affairs Education Committee. He is committed to assisting youth succeed in their educational and career endeavors. He is a recipient of the UNM Alumni Association Black Alumni Chapter's Trail Blazer Award for creating African American Student Day as well as a recipient of the Office of African American Affairs Outstanding Service Award in Education for 2013.
